

About the Cottage
The cottage is part of the 16th Century Moot Hall, it is cosy and inviting and enjoys lovely fellside views.
There is a comfortable lounge with Multi-fuel stove, separate dining room and small, well equipped kitchen.
Upstairs there is a double and a twin bedroom and a bathroom with an over bath shower.
To the rear of the property is a pleasant sitting out area with tubs and shrubs. Parking is free in the village.
The cottage sleeps 4 adults children are welcome and there is a fireguard and travel cot (no bedding) but no stairgates or high chairs, therefore the cottage is more suitable for older children.
Dogs are very welcome free of charge.
No smoking in the house.
Open All Year. All Bookings are Sunday to Sunday. Short Breaks (minimum 3 nights) are sometimes available.
All fuel, Hot water, electricity, heating, bedlinen, and towels are included in the rental charge.
About the Area
Ireby is a quiet fellside village in the Lake District, perfect for relaxing breaks and ideally placed for exploring the Lake District and Cumbrian Coast. The village is on the fringe of the Lake District National Park in an area known locally as the ‘Back o Skiddaw’.
The Lion Pub sells Real Ale and good food and is 50 yards across the square and is both child friendly and dog friendly.
The Uldale and Caldbeck Fells provide scenic and peaceful walks to suit all abilities on virtually deserted paths.
Bassenthwaite Lake is 4 miles away and Keswick and Derwentwater a 12 mile drive.
The cottage Facilities include
Sadly there is no longer a shop in the village but there is a genearl store and Post Office in Caldbeck (6 miles) and supermarkets at Cockermouth, Keswick and Wigton.
